TOPIC:
Your English pen pal is planning to spend his holiday in Morocco. He has been told that the most ideal places to visit are Marrakech and Agadir, but he can’t decide which city to stay in. write an e-mail him/her about some of the similarities and differences between the two cities.
Dear friend,
I’m very happy to know that you are going to visit Morocco, next summer. That’s why I’m writing to welcome you.
First of all, all morocco cities are beautiful and fantastic. Concerning your question about whether to stay in Marrakech or Agadir, both of them are touristic cities. They have luxurious hotels, nice cafes and extraordinary restaurants. However there are some differences between them. As far as Marrakesh is concerned, it is very traditional and hot. But people there are humorous and very hospitable. There is no beach, but there are a lot of historical monuments, such as “Lamnara”, “Koutoubia” and “jamaa Lfna square”.
Regarding Agadir, it is very modern with a nice beach and high mountains around the city. The area is dwelled by Berbers, in particular. You will enjoy a lot of local food, like “Argan” and “Amlou”
For your stay, I advice you to stay in Agadir because the rent is cheaper in poor neighborhoods and suburbs.
